Lambert was born on January 29, 1982. He is an American singer/songwriter.
Since 2009, he has sold more than 3 million albums and 5 million singles around
the world. Lambert is known for his energetic singing performances. They mix
his theatrical training with classical music. After being second on American
Idol's 8th season Lambert rose to stardom in the year 2009. Later that year, he
dropped his debut album For Your Entertainment, which reached the top spot on
the U.S. Billboard 200. Billboard 200. Lambert's second album, Trespassing, was
released in 2012. It debuted at number one on the U.S. Albums Charts. Billboard
200 ranked him as the first artist openly homosexual to reach the top of the
album charts. The third album of Lambert, The Original High, debuted at number
3 on the U.S. charts in 2015. Billboard 200 and produced the single "Ghost
Town". Lambert is also an independent artist, and has been working
together with Queen as the lead singer for Queen + Adam Lambert since 2011. He
has also been traveling on various international tours between 2014 and 2020.
Their debut album, Live Around the World (October 2020) debuts at top spot on
the UK Albums Chart. In the latter half of 2019, Lambert created the non-profit
Feel Something Foundation, anchoring his ongoing philanthropy and LGBTQ+ and
human rights activism. Its primary mission is funding projects and
organizations that have directly and disproportionately affected the LGBTQ+
community. This includes education, mental health, suicide prevention, and
homelessness. Lambert was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on the 29th of January
1982, to his mother Leila she was a dental hygiene professional; as well as
father Eber Lambert who was a program manager at Novatel Wireless. The father
of his is of Norwegian origin, while his mother is Jewish and has roots in
Romania. Lambert was raised according to the faith of his mother.
