Aleksei archer, the American actor and model born in New York City is known for her dramatic performances as well as her versatility. The couple was born in St. Louis, she moved from St. Louis to New York City at the age of just a few days. She earned an art studies qualification at Barnard College in 1991. That very same year she was offered a job as an entry-level chef at a restaurant called An American Place for one year. Still Guarnaschelli's culinary experience started in the early years of watching her mom cook a range of dishes in her kitchen while editing cookbooks. She interned under Larry Forgione and then at several restaurants in New York France and Los Angeles which included Guy Savoy's La Butte Chaillot. In the end, she was the chef-in-chief at Butter. Guarnaschelli made an appearance on Food Network's Iron Chef America where she faced Cat Cora in the Farmers Market Battle of 2007. In 2011, she participated in the third place of the season up on The Next Iron Chef, and has been an Iron Chef judge since. The contest ended in defeat on the final episode of Food Network Challenge Ultimate Thanksgiving Feast. She was appointed sous-chef of Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian after the fourth season of The Next Iron Chef. She became host of The Food Network's The Cooking Loft With Alex Guarnaschelli in 2008. There, she teaches a small group of students in how to recreate classic dishes.
